A quick trip to Paris!

Today is Friday, and I’ve just come back from a 3 day trip to Paris with the husband. Apparently, when I thought about it, I hadn’t been in Paris since the second year of highschool. I was about 13 years old then, and I doubt I saw more than the Eiffel Tower and the Sacré Coeur. 20 YEARS. 20 years of not visiting one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I guess I didn’t know what I was missing.

Paris was a BLAST, I thoroughly enjoyed this small break and probably the last citytrip before the baby comes in early May. 15000 steps a day was really tough and confronted me intensely with the fact that last time I was pregnant, it was over 10 years ago and my health was a lot better in my early twenties!

I had time for some decadent shopping (trust me, it’s bad… 0:-D) on Thursday before meeting the husband in the afternoon to go to the Fondation Louis Vuitton museum. I went to Chanel and LV and, well, spent too much money *hides face*. I found some gems that I couldn’t seem to locate in Belgium – I know some of you are dying to see what I got, but you’ll just have to be patient a tad longer until I make my unboxing video and corresponding blogposts. There was a ton on my Instagram Stories – be sure to follow me on @_moremella for future updates!

We enjoyed some sightseeing, some shopping and a LOT of great food and drinks. I’ll share some random pictures here for you to get an impression of the things I saw 🙂

IMG_5210The Fondation Louis Vuitton – there was a 2 hour waiting line to even get inside… Not an option for me! Luckily we got to cut the line and go straight in. Wobbling around 5 months pregnant has it perks after all!

Someday, SOMEDAY I’ll own trunks like this.

The most impressive balloon-decoration at the Galeries Lafayette!

Amongst the gazillion planners I saw in Paris, I was pleasantly surprised to find this A4 Filofax Original cover. No rings though, but it fits a standard A4 notebook!

I _need_ this lamp for the baby room, right?

And finally, the ideal notepads for myself and Marie-Hélène, my virtual partner in shoppingcrime <3

SO – that was it for today, I’m going to put my feet up and be lazy. More on my Paris haul coming soon!
